For Publishers

Show your readers: this is real journalism.

Add one script tag. Verigin automatically overlays AI-detection trust badges on every article and image — so your editorial credibility is visible, not just claimed.

No CMS changes. No backend work. One script tag.

Verigin badge on The Guardian — showing 1% AI score on a human-written article

Trust is eroding. Silence isn't neutral anymore.

Readers are increasingly unsure which content is human-written, AI-generated, or AI-manipulated. A stated editorial policy and a verified one are different things. Verigin lets you prove your standards, not just claim them — with visible third-party signals that readers can see on every piece of content you publish.

Three steps. Under 30 minutes. Permanent trust signal.

1

Paste one script tag

Add the Verigin Publisher script to your site's <head>. Enter your site key from the dashboard. That's it.

2

Verigin auto-scans your content

Every article and image is scored as it loads. Results are cached — one score per unique piece of content, regardless of how many times it's read.

3

Trust badges appear inline

Visible to every reader, in plain language, right on the content. Your editorial team reviews flagged items from the dashboard.

The entire integration
<!-- Verigin Publisher — paste before </head> -->
<script src="https://cdn.verigin.com/publisher.js"
        data-site-key="YOUR_SITE_KEY" async></script>

Built for publishers who take editorial standards seriously.

One-tag integration

Live on any HTML-based site before your next standup. No plugin required, no API keys on the front end.

🎯

Multi-signal AI detection

Calibrated confidence scores across text and images. Not binary pass/fail — a graduated signal that informs, not alarms.

🔐

C2PA cryptographic provenance

Surfaces Content Credentials when embedded — who created the content, on what device, and what edits were made. The only standard that can't be faked.

👁️

Reader-facing trust badges

Verdicts readers can see, in plain language, in context. Turns an internal QA signal into a public commitment to your audience.

📊

Editorial review dashboard

Flag items for review, override verdicts, annotate decisions. A complete workflow tool, not just a front-end widget.

💰

Content-item pricing

Pay for what you publish, not how many times it's read. A viral article at 1 million views costs the same as one at ten.

EU AI Act — Enforcement August 2026

The regulation is real. The deadline isn't moving.

EU AI Act Articles 50 and 52 require publishers distributing AI-generated or AI-assisted content in the EU to label it — with penalties up to €15 million or 3% of global annual turnover for non-compliance. Verigin's publisher embed is the fastest path from "we need to comply" to live on your site.

Enterprise publisher contracts include an EU AI Act compliance guarantee clause specifying which obligations Verigin's integration satisfies and what remains the publisher's responsibility. We will publish a public compliance roadmap on verigin.ai (target: Q3 2026).

📋
Article 50 — Content labeling
AI-generated text, audio, and video must be labeled in public-facing systems. Verigin's badges satisfy the disclosure requirement.
🔍
Article 52 — Transparency obligations
AI systems interacting with users must disclose their AI nature. Verigin's audit trail output is designed as a compliance artifact.
📅
Enforcement deadline: August 2026
Organizations must act before enforcement begins. Verigin can be live on your site in under 30 minutes.
C2PA Provenance

The only signal that can't be faked.

C2PA Content Credentials are embedded at the point of creation — by cameras, editing software, and AI generators that support the standard. When credentials are present, Verigin displays them in plain English: who created the content, when, on what device, and what processing it went through.

This isn't probabilistic inference. It's a signed chain of custody. And as adoption grows across the Adobe ecosystem, Android and iOS cameras, and broadcast infrastructure, your provenance display becomes more powerful — automatically, with no code changes on your end.

C2PA is backed by Adobe, Google, Microsoft, the BBC, and others. Verigin implements the open standard.

When C2PA credentials are present, readers see:

You know how much you publish. You shouldn't have to guess your traffic to estimate your bill.

What is a "content item"?

One content item = one unique piece of content scored once — the article text counts as one item, and each image on the page counts as one item. A typical article with a main image and three inline photos = 5 items. A small publisher posting 3 articles/day uses roughly 450 items/month. Results are cached, so no matter how many times that article is read, those 5 items are only charged once. You pay for what you publish, not your traffic.

If your site serves HTML, you're already compatible.

Verigin Publisher works on any HTML-based site or CMS. The JavaScript embed auto-discovers content on the page. No plugin, no server-side changes.

Questions from real editors.

A stated policy and a verified policy are different things. The embed shows readers you can prove your standards, not just assert them. In an era where readers distrust institutional media, visible third-party verification is the editorial policy made credible.
The badge is graduated, not binary. "Likely Human" appears for low scores; "Mixed Signals" for ambiguous ones. Publishers can set a confidence threshold for when badges display at all. Editorial override is built into the dashboard — any verdict can be reviewed, annotated, and corrected by your team.
It's a single <script> tag with a site key. No backend work, no webhook setup, no CMS changes. Most publishers are live before the onboarding call ends. The editorial dashboard and API integration are optional — you grow into them without a sprint.
Archive scoring is available on Professional and Enterprise as a one-time bulk job, priced separately from your monthly allotment. Most publishers find only a fraction of their archive is actively trafficked. And because items are cached indefinitely unless content changes, you pay once per item, not per visit.
Editorial override is built into the workflow. Any verdict can be reviewed and annotated by an editor. The badge a reader sees can be held pending review or suppressed for specific content types. Verigin surfaces signals; your editors make the final call.
